About CAVV
The CAVV (Cardholder Authentication Verification Value) is a 20-byte value generated by the ACS during 3DS 1.0 authentication. It is passed in the PARes and subsequently verified by the issuer during the authorization request. The ECI (Electronic Commerce Indicator) accompanies the CAVV and indicates the authentication outcome.
