Schema: mandatory elements, Max35/140 text lengths, ISODate/ISODateTime, amounts (18 digits, currency minor units), ISO 4217 currencies, ISO 3166 countries, BIC format, IBAN length and mod-97, UUID v4 UETRs. Consistency: NbOfTxs and CtrlSum per group and payment block, pacs.008 totals, camt.053 opening + booked entries = closing and the transaction summary. CBPR+: one transaction, UETR, INDA/INGA/COVE, DEBT/CRED/SHAR, instructing/instructed agents, settlement date, Business Application Header. SEPA: EUR, SLEV, IBANs, amount range, one 140-character remittance, basic Latin characters, reference format. Addresses: unstructured postal addresses are rejected from 2026-11-14 (CBPR+) and 2026-11-15 (SEPA); use structured or hybrid (TwnNm + Ctry, at most two AdrLine). This is not a full XSD validation — use the official schemas and usage guidelines before going live. Message structures are in the ISO 20022 reference.
