What it is

Application Version Number — Card identifies the version of the application implemented on the card, assigned by the payment scheme. The terminal compares it with its own version (9F09); a mismatch sets a TVRTerminal Verification ResultsEMV tag 95 — a 5-byte bitfield recording the outcome of the terminal’s risk and verification checks.View in glossary → bit.
