What it is

The Processing Options Data Object List (PDOL) is a template the card returns in the SELECT response listing the tags (and lengths) it needs from the terminal in the GET PROCESSING OPTIONS command. The terminal concatenates the requested values in order to form the GPOGet Processing OptionsThe EMV command that starts a transaction; the card responds with the AIP and the records to read.View in glossary → data field.

Common PDOL requests include the Terminal Transaction Qualifiers (9F66), amount (9F02), currency (5F2A), country (9F1A) and unpredictable number (9F37) — especially in contactless flows.

Where it appears

Returned by the card in the SELECT response; consumed by the terminal to build GET PROCESSING OPTIONS.
