Application Identifier (AID) — Terminal

What it is

The terminal-side AID is the Application Identifier the terminal selected or matched. It corresponds to the card AID (tag 4F) and confirms which application configuration the terminal is running.

Where it appears

Determined by the terminal during application selection.
