pacs.002 (reject or status report), pacs.004 (return of funds), camt.029 (answer to a recall)
What to do when you receive AM04
- SDD: there is no automatic re-presentation in SEPA. Collect again as a new collection with a new due date, if your terms allow it.
- In a camt.029 it means the beneficiary no longer has the money, so the recall failed.
In SEPA
Mostly seen on SDD returns, because for credit transfers the debtor bank checks funds before sending. Some SEPA banks report MS03 instead of AM04 for data-protection reasons.
